Jobs demand prompts Edwards Employment Solutions to expand team
05 January 2021
After securing employment for hundreds of people during the pandemic, Edwards Employment Solutions has made four new appointments of its own.
Four new members of staff have been recruited to help meet increased employer demand for staff.
Priya Sachania, Bekki Mason, Francesca McCann and Samantha Morley have all joined the business following the Edwards Employment Solutions’ contract win earlier this year to recruit 300 new starters at a large call centre.
Call centre recruitment specialist, Samantha Morley has been appointed to manage the new contract. She said: “As well as extensive recruitment experience, I have also previously worked in a call centre myself as an inbound agent giving me an excellent understanding of the roles available and the opportunities for progression within the industry.”
Bekki joins as a Recruiter Co-ordinator responsible for payroll for Edwards’ contractor workforce. She brings six years’ recruitment experience to the role as well as retail and customer services management experience.
Recruitment consultant Francesca joins from a national recruiter bringing five years’ experience in recruitment to the role. She said: “I am so excited to work for Edwards Employment Solutions. It is a company that shares my passion for going above and beyond for clients.”
Priya agreed, saying: “I have a passion for helping people and providing them with a job. Nothing beats the feeling of knowing that you have helped someone pay their bills.” Recruitment consultant Priya brings extensive experience to her role at Edwards having worked in both corporate and temporary recruitment over the last six years.
Speaking about the appointments, Managing Director Izabella Edwards said: “Despite negative media reports, the job market is buoyant particularly in south Yorkshire and Derbyshire which has directly led to Francesca, Bekki, Priya and Samantha joining the business.
“We are advertising new temporary and permanent roles weekly, many of which have an immediate start. Some of the jobs we are dealing with could be a lifeline for people who have been made redundant during the pandemic. The temporary roles particularly could get many people through the Christmas period and into 2021 when, hopefully, the economy will be starting to return to normal.”
2020 was a year of growth for Edwards Employment Solutions. As well as the new appointments, the business relocated to new premises on Old Brick Lane in Chesterfield.
The business is now on the look out for an industrial recruiter to join the team. To apply for the role, please email izabella@edwards-employment.co.uk
