Project Engineer
Location: Various sites across the South East
About the Role:
Our client, a reputable engineering company, is seeking a Permanent Project Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the management of mechanical and electrical schemes and maintenance activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scope all works with the client on-site and provide technical knowledge for repairs, refurbishments, or replacements.
- Complete estimates on time consistent with service level agreements.
- Attend and participate in internal launch/scope meetings, external site visits, and design meetings.
- Monitor and manage resources, budgets, and project programs collaboratively with the site services team.
- Produce commissioning plans in conjunction with the site services team.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety documentation and handover procedures.
- Liaise with internal design teams and manage installation and commissioning activities.
- Compile HSEQ documentation and oversee safety protocols on-site.
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer.
- HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering.
- Valid CSCS Gold Card and SMSTS certification.
- Ability to cover areas within the South East
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
