Project Engineer

Location: Various sites across the South East

About the Role:

Our client, a reputable engineering company, is seeking a Permanent Project Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the management of mechanical and electrical schemes and maintenance activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scope all works with the client on-site and provide technical knowledge for repairs, refurbishments, or replacements.
• Complete estimates on time consistent with service level agreements.
• Attend and participate in internal launch/scope meetings, external site visits, and design meetings.
• Monitor and manage resources, budgets, and project programs collaboratively with the site services team.
• Produce commissioning plans in conjunction with the site services team.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety documentation and handover procedures.
• Liaise with internal design teams and manage installation and commissioning activities.
• Compile HSEQ documentation and oversee safety protocols on-site.

Knowledge, Education, Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer.
• HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering.
• Valid CSCS Gold Card and SMSTS certification.
• Ability to cover areas within the South East
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
