Our client is an award-winning organisation, looking to grow their team of Vehicle Production Fitters.
This is a permanent vacancy working site-based in Doncaster assisting the Production team to deliver high standard specification work.
The successful candidate will have experience in working with Vehicle Conversions and the knowledge of the Tools & Equipment needed to do so. The ability to handle pressure and meet targets is essential.

37 hours per week

Monday-Wednesday 6AM-4PM, Thursday 6AM-3PM

20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

The Role – Vehicle Production Fitter
As a Vehicle Production Fitter your day-to-day duties will include;

Checking/reporting any damage to base vehicles and ensuring they match paperwork

Producing vehicle conversions to the correct specification in-line with the build plans
-
Obtaining & Following standard operating procedures & bills of materials

Advise on amendments to drawings/panels and notify supervisors of any potential improvements

Work within part of a team and help transfer skills to other team members while supporting team leaders

Take responsibility for all relevant paperwork and maintain a safe/clean work environment

Adhere to relevant ISO/QMS process as well as all H&S procedures

Must have

2 years of Vehicle Conversion Experience

Flexibility to work overtime if required

Understanding of ISO / QMS process

Ability to read specifications/drawings

Experience/knowledge of tools & equipment

Ability to work well within a team and adhere to a tidy workspace & health and safety procedures
