Our client is an award-winning organisation, looking to grow their team of Electrical Fitters.
This is a permanent vacancy working site-based in Doncaster in a vehicle conversion company fitting electrical components.
The successful candidate will have experience in working within an electrical installation environment as well as having a good understanding of the conversion process. Having knowledge of relevant specs and the ability to read/write wiring diagrams is a must.

Monday-Wednesday 6AM-4PM, Thursday 6AM-3PM

20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

The Role – Electrical Fitter
As an Electrical Fitter your day-to-day duties will include;

Checking the base vehicle matches paperwork and reporting any damage

Carrying out electrical installations to the correct specification in line with the build plan, quality control standards and ISO/QMS process

Obtaining & Following standard operating procedures & bills of materials

Working within a team carrying out instructions from team leaders/supervisors and transferring skills to other team members

Taking responsibility for your own paperwork and maintaining a safe/clean working environment

Carrying out duties in line with health & safety requirements
The Candidate

Do you have a good eye for detail?

Have you got flexibility to help support a team?

Can you correctly use tools and test equipment?
Must have
-
2 years experience in an electrical fitting role

Knowledge of conversions in a vehicle setting

thorough understanding of relevant specs

The ability to read/write wiring diagrams

The ability to work under pressure working towards targets/deadlines
