Our client is a leading commercial vehicle builders, looking to add an additional member to there team as a Yard Worker / Telehandler Operative.

This is a temporary role leading into a permanent position after 12 weeks that will be site based. Doncaster based candidates would be ideal. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading vehicles with plastic pipe & pallets as well as ensuring the yard is aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have Telehandler experience as well as in-date counterbalance license. You must be able to drive and have access to a car as site isn’t accessible via public transport. 

 

Details - Yard Worker / Telehandler Operative

In return for your commitment, you can expect: 

  • £12.60p/h - £13.50p/h DOE

  • 8:30AM - 5PM

  • Monday-Friday

As a Yard Worker / Telehandler Operative, you will….

  • Serve as the point of contact for the loading and unloading of all deliveries.

  • Facilitate the loading and unloading of vehicles and with the movement/storage of all products

  • Daily picking and packing and despatch of product.

  • Liaise with colleagues on workload requirements on a daily basis.

  • Collaborating with logistics coordinators, drivers, the stock controller, and the workshop team to execute assigned tasks in both the yard and workshop areas.

 

To be successful in this role for Yard Worker / Telehandler Operative you MUST have:

  • Tele-handler experience 

  • Counterbalance license

  • UK Drivers license

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team
